Experience

Mirella Vallascas is a Civil/Structural Engineer who has experience both in Onshore and Offshore design. She has been involved in a wide range of projects gaining experience in design with different standards (BS, Eurocodes, AISC, ACI, API)

Ms Vallascas is competent in using software for structural calculations such as: STAAD, SACS, ANSYS, STRAND7, CATIA, TRUEGRID, IPERSPACE. She has also experience with STRUREL for Reliability Analysis of structures.

Mirella Vallascas has worked at FIAT research centre at noise and vibrations reduction in vehicles . She has implemented, validated and tested a software for industrial applications.

Ms Vallascas has recently developed some software for design and reliability analysis of plated structures.
